2. Meet 15-20 Singles

You’ll have a series of short, 5-minute conversations with other singles in your age group. When the bell rings, you rotate and meet someone new. It's fast, fun, and surprisingly easy.

3. Mark Your matches

After each mini-date, you privately note whether you'd like to connect again. No one sees your answers.

4. Get Your Matches

If the interest is mutual, we'll send you each other's contact information the next day.

Why I started Boy Meets Girl

Hi, I'm Carolyn, founder of Boy Meets Girl.

I’ve lived in the Cedar Rapids–Iowa City corridor my entire life and have always loved the community here. Over time, I noticed so many incredible people who were single—not because they wanted to be, but because they didn’t always have the right opportunities to meet.

That’s what inspired me to start Boy Meets Girl. I wanted to create a space where people can meet in a natural, comfortable way and build real connections.

The right connection can happen at any time—you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
